Is this you?

You have a list. It has never made you money

You're a store, or a firm with clients who come back. Somewhere in a platform somebody signed up for years ago sits a list of people who bought from you or asked about you. It has been sent a Black Friday email, a January email, and not much else. Every address on it said yes to hearing from you, and almost none of them ever have.

Meanwhile the daily moments where email earns its keep pass silently. Someone buys and hears nothing. Someone abandons a cart and hears nothing. Someone hasn't ordered in six months and hears nothing. That's not a marketing gap, it's money left on the table every single day, and it compounds, because a list that never hears from you slowly stops being a list at all.

The fix isn't a newsletter habit. It's plumbing. Flows that fire themselves, on a domain that's set up to actually reach the inbox, with reporting that shows what each flow earned. Built once, properly, at a fixed price. That's this package.

What you
actually get

Every line below is a deliverable, not an intention. If it's on this list it's in the proposal, and if it's not on this list it isn't included.

Deliverability done first: SPF, DKIM, DMARC

Since 2024, Gmail and Yahoo enforce sender authentication. Get it wrong and your email quietly dies in spam no matter how good the copy is. I set up and verify all three records before a single flow goes live.

Your platform, set up or straightened out

I work in whichever email platform you already use. If you have one, I audit and fix it. If you don't, I set one up in your name and your billing. I never resell software or mark up licences.

List hygiene and a segmentation model

Dead addresses out, engaged people identified, and a simple segment structure so the right people get the right message. This is also a deliverability job, a dirty list is how good domains earn bad reputations.

A branded, reusable template system

Built on your identity, in your platform, structured so every future email starts from a system rather than a blank canvas. You can use it without me afterwards.

Four core flows, built and live

Welcome, abandoned cart or abandoned enquiry, post-purchase, and win-back. Written, designed, tested and switched on. These are the emails that earn while you sleep, which is why they come before any campaign does.

Revenue attribution reporting

Set up inside your platform so you can see what each flow earned, in rand, forever. Not open rates. Money.

How it runs

So you know what's happening and when, and so nobody has to ask for a status update.

Week 0

The call

Thirty minutes. What you sell, what the list looks like, where it came from. I'll tell you honestly if this package fits, and if your list is too small for it yet, I'll say so.

Week 1

Deliverability and audit

SPF, DKIM and DMARC configured and verified. Platform audited or set up. The unglamorous week that decides whether everything after it works.

Week 2

List and templates

Hygiene pass, segmentation model, and the template system designed and built in your platform.

Weeks 3–4

Flows live

The four flows written, built, tested and switched on, with attribution reporting configured. Handover walkthrough at the end, everything in your accounts.

What I need from you

The projects that run late almost always run late for one of these reasons, so they're worth reading properly before we start.

  • Admin access to your email platform and your store or website, granted to my account, revocable by you in one click
  • Brand assets, logo, colours, fonts and any product photography you have
  • Product and offer information, what you sell, what margins allow, what you'd never discount
  • Approvals on copy and design within the agreed windows, this is the difference between four weeks and eight
  • Honesty about where the list came from. It's yours and it stays yours, but I don't send to purchased lists, ever

What's not included

On the public page rather than buried in the proposal, so there's no argument in week five.

  • Ongoing campaigns
  • Copywriting beyond the flows themselves
  • Platform subscription fees
  • Purchased lists, never
Your other options

What happens if you don't do this

Do nothing. Flows are the compounding kind of revenue. Every month they don't exist is money that doesn't arrive and doesn't come back later. The list keeps decaying quietly while you get around to it.

Do it yourself. The platforms make it look easy, and the drag-and-drop part genuinely is. The parts that fail are the ones the platform doesn't show you, authentication records, list hygiene, and attribution. Most self-built setups I audit send fine-looking emails into spam folders and can't prove what anything earned.

Recognise the wrong fit. If you have under about 500 contacts and not much website traffic, this is the wrong package and I'll tell you so on the call. Flows multiply the traffic and customers you already have, they don't create them. Fix acquisition first, Search Foundations is where that starts, and come back when the list is worth building an engine for.

Straight
answers

Will my emails land in spam?
That's the first problem this package solves. Since 2024, Gmail and Yahoo require SPF, DKIM and DMARC authentication from senders, and most small businesses fail at least one. I configure and verify all three before anything sends, then keep the list clean, because reputation is the other half of deliverability. Nobody can honestly promise every inbox, but the technical causes of spam placement get fixed here first, not discovered later.
Why the spread between R32,000 and R55,000?
The state of what I inherit. A clean platform with a tidy list sits at the bottom of the range. A messy platform, a large unhygienic list, or a migration between platforms pushes it up. You get a fixed number in writing after the first call, and it doesn't move unless you change the scope.
Why can't I just use my platform's templates myself?
You can, and the emails will look fine. But templates are the visible ten percent. The platform won't set up your authentication records, clean your list, decide your segments, write four flows that fit your buying cycle, or configure attribution so you know what any of it earned. The templates are almost the free part.
Who owns the list and the account?
You. Always. The platform account is in your name on your billing, the list is yours, and both export with you if we part ways. I work as a collaborator you can remove in one click. A supplier who owns your list owns your customers, and I'd walk away from a deal structured that way, so should you.
Which platform do you work in?
Yours. I build in whichever email platform you already use, and if you're starting fresh I'll recommend one that fits your size and stack, set up in your name. I'm not a reseller, so the recommendation has no commission behind it.
How fast does it pay for itself?
The flows start earning the day they go live, but the first month proves nothing, meaningful data takes 60 to 90 days. What I can promise is that you'll see the answer yourself, in rand per flow, inside your own platform. If a number doesn't move, we'll both be looking at the same report.
